Third Naghmeh program criticism about Melal (The
nations) orchestra concert was performed

Third Naghmeh program which specified to recent Melal
(The nations) orchestra under the conduction of Peyman
Soltani was held with
The presence of lovers and artists and some music
authorities field in Shafagh culture house.
In this session at first Abolhasan Mokhtabad the
artistic critic journalist and reporter as the performer
of this program praised performing such sessions which
is depend on criticism performed works in music filed he
said: Melal orchestra as a private has started its
artistic activity since two years ago and as we know
conducing such organizations needs different supporting
and back up and forming such orchestra has been faced
with many difficulties.
But Melal orchestra could overcome these problems and
performs its artistic program. Alireza Javaheri composer
, researcher , writer and Santour players as critic
appeared in these program and pointed to this discussion
and told that such big orchestra surely needs financial
and virtual supporting by institutes and governmental or
nongovernmental organizations because after forming and
meeting such an orchestra is needful for continuing
performing and in my opinion it is better discuss that
at this time which we are sitting here with each other
and talking about this orchestra is there anything by
the name of Melal orchestra ? Or this orchestra will be
faded after final performing? I hope we could be able to
discuss about this kind of orchestra and organization
which is continuing and will continue to its activities
.So my first questions is about continuing and presence
of such an orchestra and if it can be discussed about
continuing artistic performing? Peyman Soltani composer

conductor responses to this discussion we know that
Melal orchestra is not a governmental orchestra and such
organization don't support it so this is itself a
specialty that we have been able to continue this
orchestra with 110 people until today. For keeping this
orchestra active we are going to negotiate with some
private companies for getting necessary financial
supporting and back up , then Alireza Javaheri discussed
about selected pieces of Melal orchestra and divided
them into two categories .The first pieces which were
specified for this orchestra and were written and
performed for the first time for this orchestra second :
the pieces that have been composed by great composers
and adjusted for this orchestra and adjusted again .
Javaheri thanked Mr Siyavash Beizaee for selecting and
adjusting different and suitable works for Melal
orchestra and then he said when some pieces are composed
by famous composers and with the best quality I think it
is not necessary to be adjusted weaker and more common
than before. And if it was not better that these famous
works would be performed with the same main adjusting.
This adjusting is acceptable when adjusting and
performing again would be better than main adjusting but
if Melal orchestra performing were like this? He
continued to discussion with sample of Iranian and
classic music that their again adjusting have been
better than main adjusting and then he gave some
examples such as : fair painting of Modest Mussorgsky
that is adjusted for Piano and afterward Maurice Ravel
adjusted it for orchestra and now orchestra performing
of this work is more famous than main pieces. Famous
opera of Carmen of George Bizet which after some years
were presented by composers like Schchedrin and
Stokowski with distinct adjusting. Famous pieces
Asturias created by Isaac Albeniz at first was an
unknown works. In the middle a big Suite by the name of
Ebriya for Piano solo and afterwards this work was
adjusted for orchestra by Emmanuel De Falla and its fame
was gained when this work was adjusted for Solo Guitar
by Spanish famous Guitarist Andreh Segovia. Javaheri
gave two examples of Iranian music that was continued
good structure and good voice of Morteza Neydavoud
Pishdaramad-e Esfahan by Morteza Hananeh for symphonic
orchestra as after placing this work under the title of
Hezar Dastan television serial preface of Mr Ali Hatami
- bless him- Iranian people know works by the name of
Pishdaramad-e Hezar Dastan and the other example of
other pieces related to Abolhasan Saba piece by the name
of Be Zendan and its orchestra adjusting for Violin and
orchestra by Hossein Dehlavi was specified after this
example Javaheri asked if your selected pieces from
famous composers has this practicality specification? He
continued to discuss about one of practicality works of
orchestra that Walts from Shostakovitch famous composer
from Russia . He continued to talk about broadcasting
main performing of this works with Moscow theater Bale
show orchestra performing and Melal orchestra performing
and asked the listeners to compare these mentioned
examples about performing Peyman Soltani answered
Javaheri and said : That a 21 years old young man has
adjusted this Waltz Shostakovitch for this orchestra and
this young artist is a still at the first path and
should be supported so we should pay attention to such
works depend on the artist young abilities and it is not
wise to compare this performing with the orchestration
with main performing with strong orchestration
Shostakovich . Javaheri continued to talk about this
subject that why is basically needful to use Iranian
instruments for all performances and if it is necessary
to use Tar and Santour and other instruments for
performing Poeta piece from Vicente Amigo? And if wasn't
better to use every instrument depend on performing
culture?
Peyman Soltani responded to this discussion and said at
first we are getting
used of instruments as producing sources and for us
instruments nationality and kinship is not important so
we are going to have a collection of western and eastern
instrument beside each other and try to have new
painting of sound. Then Siyavash Beizaee discussed about
Delphi Temple song and told that this is the first
orchestra performing of this work and can be a symbol
for Melal orchestra identity in future. Siyavash Beizaee
the most basically part of this criticism specified to
Naft (Petrol) symphony of AliNaghi Vaziri which was
faced with different reactions.
Siyavash Beizaee explained about this work that was
performed in 1327 by Vaziri and a note of this work is
available but this note has many wrong points and we had
to rewrite this work and it takes two months. Beizaee
told left note of this work was for Tar Solo and was not
anything of this Partiture orchestra available so this
works should be based on havings. So I decide to divide
this work into two sections for Tar and orchestra.
Javaheri continued the discussion
and
pointed to duration of Cadence section by Tar single
player and criticized hard of playing method of Keivan
Saket which this caused different reactions of viewer.
Beizaee pointed to duration of Keivan Saket single
playing section in this symphony and he told that the
reason lack of time and not enough practice. And then
Keivan Saket that was together with viewers told that
his played music had been exactly depended on the will
of adjuster , the work and he had not performed anything
else . Javeheri continued and asked the performer of the
program to broadcast nine minutes Kadans of Keivan Saket
in Naft (Petrol) symphony for an audience this meeting
was performed with the presence of famous persons of
Iran music in Shafagh culture house with supporting and
maintenance of artistic cultural organizations of Tehran
town council.
