Domezrab Chap pay attention to Gerayli Shasti piece from
Radif Primitive book from Faramarz Payvar which here is
performed in two types; the first pay attention to the
basic state which is Sarmezrab and then Domezrab Chap.
Pay attention that in performing of Domezrab Chap, left

One of the performing specifications of Domezrab Chap,
the right hand freedom while performing so when
performing Domezrab Chap the right hand is practically
free and can have several jumps.
Of course it should be mentioned that while performing
Domezrab Chap all of the left hand power of player is
concentrated on graces, so in this way grace performing
should be certainly on one note.
Otherwise performing of that should be designed with
Sarmezrab.
Pay attention to following examples.

piece. This piece is performed here in two types; at the
first as a simple way is performed from one left Mezrab
and the second from two left. Pay attention that while
using Domezrab Chap how work's quality has been changed

As you paid attention, in old method of palying Santour
specially the method which is used from bare Mezrab or
without cover the player, will take the Mezrab in hand
looser and bit more slowly on the wire so in old much
more old method left hand had less performing power and
in this way during performing, the main Mezrabs
(plectrums) were performed by right hand and the other
Mezrabs (plectrums) and grace were performed by left
hand. So as you paid attention to this performing left
hand performs many graces which is completed by this
kind of Mezrabs (plectrums) and then was used as
Domezrab Chap got more independence and was used in
other Methods.
